AFC visit China for Futsal Club Licensing System

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Development Department, in cooperation with the Chinese Football Association (CFA), is holding a Futsal Planning workshop in Jining, Shandong Province.

The planning workshop is intended to introduce Futsal Club Licensing System in the Chinese Futsal Super League.

The AFC delegation is led by the Head of AFC Futsal & Beach Soccer Development Ali Targholizadeh.

The AFC Futsal Development Department, in cooperation with the Chinese Football Association (CFA), is holding a Futsal Planning workshop in Jining, Shandong Province.

Shandong Province FA Vice President Wei Shu Bo said he is delighted to be hosting the historical workshop in Jining.

The Director of Football for All Departments at CFA Roger Luo said: “I feel honoured to coordinate this workshop with AFC. We are committed to the further development of Futsal in China and the continent.”

The participants of the workshop were introduced to AFC Futsal Club Licensing Regulations by Mahajan Vasudevan Nair, Head of Club Licensing in AFC.

Abbas Torabian, AFC Futsal Consultant, explained the good practices required for professional management of futsal clubs.

The workshop invoked discussions on the current state of futsal clubs in China. The clubs made presentations on the general outlook, administration, marketing, coach education, and league operations.

The participants of the three-day workshop will also attend the matches of the Chinese Futsal Super League currently being played in Jining and will conclude on November 19.
