Why purchase a ticket for the Futsal Focus Network Business Conference?

One of our speakers is Pablo Vilches, Director of Futsal and Women’s Football at Real Betis, Spain.

When discussing Futsal with entrepreneurs, investors, Football clubs among other sectors in the business, media and entertainment industry in the UK and Ireland it has been interesting for Futsal Focus when they ask us “Why should we get involved in Futsal? It will never take off here, this is a traditional Football culture” The immediate response from Futsal Focus has been “Therefore, are you suggesting that Football is not a traditional sport in Uruguay, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Russia, and in many countries around the world, yet Futsal is either professional, semi-professional or enjoys high participation levels and developing leagues in these countries. It is one of the fastest growing sports in the world so much so it has replaced Football at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina.”

Lack of knowledge is the only factor holding back the development of Futsal in the UK and around the world where the sport is still played to an amateur level or yet to be developed. Why would an entrepreneur, investor or Football club etc get involved in Futsal, what are the benefits, what are the commercial opportunities and what is the growth potential?

Pablo Vilches from Real Betis who compete in the Liga Nacional de Futbol Sala will discuss the success of the league so far, its potential growth, and why Real Betis decided to get involved in the Futsal industry!
