The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has signed a futsal-focused agreement with Spanish sportswear company Joma. The RFEF and Joma Sport agree that the sports brand will be their official technical sponsor of Futsal.

From now on, Joma will dress all national teams and Federation Futsal competitions.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and Joma Sport have reached an agreement that will make this firm the new official technical sponsor of all Futsal. The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, and the general manager of Joma, Alberto López, have signed today the contract that will allow to start this collaboration.

In this way, Joma will “dress” the men’s and women’s national Futsal teams, in all their categories; and will be the official sponsor of all the existing RFEF competitions in this discipline, from the HM King’s Cup to the HM Queen’s Cup, including the Women’s Supercup.

During today’s event, the official ball to be used by the national teams was presented, with a modern design based on the colours of the Spanish National Team, while the kit will be presented next April. The specific ball for the Spanish Cup will be known on February 25th, during the presentation of this competition that will be held in Malaga from March 5th to 8th.

For his part, the president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, has wanted to emphasize the importance of this agreement that, without a doubt, will allow to continue advancing in the promotion of the futsal, a priority for the institution that directs and that is responsible for the Spanish soccer as a whole.

He also recalled the history of a company such as Joma, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is still a benchmark in sports equipment, and congratulated, starting with its president, all the members of this benchmark company in the sports market, for the proven achievements over all these years.

For Joma, the image of an athlete has always been its best representative, so in the next Olympic Games in Tokyo will dress 8 Committees including the Spanish Olympic Committee. In the most important world sports event, the brand will also be represented by 18 Federations from different disciplines; the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, the Royal Spanish Handball Federation or the Spanish Rugby Federation, among many others at international level. We must add in football, where Joma has the highest number of sponsorships in the Spanish league along with Nike, in Italy with Sampdoria FC, Torino FC, and Atalanta FC, surpassing in presence of the main competing brands in this country. In Belgium with RSC Anderlecht or Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, which together with the Romanian, Ukrainian and Honduran teams add up to a total of more than 300 professional teams in the world of football. In addition, Joma, in futsal, has the champions of the Italian, Brazilian and Spanish leagues.

All this makes it the leading brand in the Spanish market and the third brand globally, thanks to the effort and support of thousands of professional and amateur sportsmen and women who trust the brand more and more every day.

With this agreement, the Federation continues to deepen its product diversification strategy, enhancing the value of all the assets offered by the different football modalities, and increasing the opportunities for commercial collaboration linked to National Teams and Competitions.
