Barcelona defeated the Slovenian Dobovec 8-2 in their opening Elite round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League.Despite the comfortable final result, Barça had to overcome the initial goal from Duscak, who took advantage of an imbalance in the Barça defense to overcome goalkeeper Dídac with a spur shot eight minutes into the game. In the opening stages, Dobovec crashed two shots of Barca’s crossbar, however, Ferrao changed the flow of the match with two goals in two minutes. Through, Barça’s Pito the match was all but decided before the break with two goals in less than a minute. Cesarek responded from distances after the restart, but a minute later Sergio Lozano cut off any possibility for the Slovenian get back into the match.

SL Benfica defeated Hungarians Haladás VSE 3-8, and Iranian, Hossein Tayebi , amazed at the UEFA Futsal Champions League with a magical shot that surprised everyone. Even his partner, who was two meters from him, was blown away by what had just happened on the court. The pivot turned with a little touch … and ended up sending the ball into the net with his other leg.

Levante lost at home to Ukraine’s Uragan 3-5. The clash that was decided in the last three minutes by the effectiveness of the Ukrainian team, which took advantage of the errors by the Spanish team . Goalkeeper Koltok led Uragan, both with his saves and with his speed to distribute and execute his direct game, which was the weapon that defeated Levante.

The game was very close for almost 40 minutes. One team went ahead and the other equalized, on several occasions . However, at 3-3, Uragan scored the fourth on 37 minutes, forcing Levante to take more risks.

In the last three minutes, Uragan scored their fifth goal to leave Levante with a defeat that forces them to win today at Haladás VSE  and on Saturday at Benfica . Even if they succeeds, the team need other results to go their way in order to qualify for the Final Four.

ACCS Asnières Villeneuve 92 lost (5-2) in Russia against MFK Tyumen.  The reigning French champion started strong against their group hosts, but it wasn’t long before the Russians opened the scoring (1-0) with a cross strike from Antoshkin on the right flank. Just before half-time, Tyumen doubled their lead (2-0) by Upalev.

The Russians scored the fourth goal of the game on a strike from Nevredov. But, ACCS Asnières Villeneuve didn’t give up and closed the gap (4-2) through Souheil Mouhoudine. At the end of the game, Taffy sealed the victory (5-2). ACCS Asnières Villeneuve will play their next game against Kairat Almaty this Friday before taking on the Belarusians Viten Orsha on Sunday, December 5.  As a reminder, only the winner of this mini-tournament will qualify for the final phase of the competition.
