Angolan Federation of Futsal Board advisor announces bid for Presidency of Angolan Football Federation

Mr. Dino Paulo has announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Angolan Football Federation (Federação Angolana de Futebol or FAF). He is currently the CEO of Decathlon Marketing Sports Lda and since 2011, he has organized many sports events nationally and internationally and has provided consulting services to football clubs and players. Dino established his own football club, Kilamba City Football Club, in 2019 and is currently its President.

He served as an Executive Director of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) from 2017 to 2018. In this capacity, Dino was responsible for creating the National Football Development Plan, the FAF Business Plan, the FAF Marketing Plan, and the future Angolan Football League Plan.

Mr. Paulo holds very noteworthy positions, he is the Regional Director for Southern Africa and Angola at Africa Sports Ventures Group – ASVG. In addition to being a member of the Angolan Olympic Committee. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Angolan Federation of Futsal, which is establishing the Angola Futsal League.

Speaking to Rádio 5, Dino Paulo, who was part of the current cast of the governing body of the sport in the country, exercising the function of Executive Director, said that football should be seen as a business and points out several guidelines capable of giving this vitality to football in particular, ensuring that they are working so that they can build a strong team, capable of convincing the electorate.

With the official intention to run, Dino Paulo joins Artur Almeida, who expressed his intention to remain in his leadership position, and Norberto de Castro, who has been the most active and vocal so far about his intentions, with the label of candidate of the people.
