After 18 months of work Rockingham Cambio Cumbre Futsal confirmed that a Development Approval for the building of their new home ground has been granted by the City of Rockingham.

The new purpose-built facility will be located in the coastal suburb of Port Kennedy, Western Australia, just 5 minutes away from the amazing Indian Ocean. It will feature two Futsal courts including one international-size court, a café, and a number of other amenities to be announced soon. Being close to their 10-year anniversary, Cumbre are excited to finally have a permanent home where they will continue their vision of becoming a professional club and growing their supporter base through a range of community engagement programs, as well as providing many new opportunities for their elite teams.

The development came about through the club’s development agreement with Pro Futsal who are based in Perth. You can learn more about this by reading our exclusive interview with Rockingham Cambio Cumbre Futsal  and Pro Futsal from 2020:

The relationship between both organisations is a creative and innovative market leading example of what is possible to drive the development of futsal forward from the private sector outside of the governing structures.
